Programming at Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club
Our programming at Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club is the first of its kind in Canada. In 2024, we will have two areas of programming that support self-identified girls ages 8-19, led by female instructors and coaches which will focus on the shared experience of girls having fun sailing and developing their racing skills
This 5-day camp is being offered Aug 26th - Aug 30th. It will be led by national team sailor and Olympic hopeful, Clara Gravely. All levels of experience available from complete beginner to experienced racer (including foiling option). Please sign-up to the appropriate in registration. These one-week sessions offered in July and August will focus on the “fun” of sailing. Shared sailing experiences in a variety of boats including, double handed dinghies, keelboats, and kayaks which will be led by female instructors. On-the-water activities will introduce the basics of sailing in a fun experiential way.
