In Conjunction With International Womens Day
To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, we are officially launching our website www.leapsailing.com.
The inequity of those who identify as girls in sailing is at the core of this initiative. Through the generous grants from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Jumpstart, and Canadian Women & Sport, we have been able to build programming, and this website, to promote a girl culture at ABYC.
Our hope is that by shining a light on this issue, more girls and women will be part of this great community.
