Empowering Girls through Sail Can 1 & 2 and Girls Sailing Week

June 22 - 26, 9am – 4pm
Ages 10-18

This 5-day camp will be led by Sail Canada senior team, Clara Gravely. ABYC’s Head Instructor, and other top female Race Coaches from ABYC. All levels are available from complete beginner to experienced racer (including the foiling option) On water, the focus is on developing skills at the helm of the sailor’s preferred fleet (ILCA, 420, RS Zest, Opti). Sailors will also be given an opportunity to try foiling with WingFoils. Ultimately, the goal of this program is to promote girls in sailing by building community and a shared love of sailing. Please note this one-week program is available to female sailors, who have at least CANSail 1, through to experienced racers.

Girls in Sailing Continuation Sail 1/2

The CANSail 1/2 Girls in Sailing Continuation program is a two-week, girls-only sailing course designed for sailors who want to continue building their skills in a supportive, confidence-focused environment. This program follows the Sail Canada CANSail 1 & 2 curriculum and allows participants to further their learning while sailing alongside other girls with similar experience and goals. Open to sailors 9–12 years of age
